Senior iOS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the development and enhancement of the LIFE Pharmacy mobile application. The role involves building reliable, scalable, and user-friendly iOS experiences across eCommerce, pharmacy services, ordering, payments, delivery, and customer engagement features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the LIFE Pharmacy iOS application using Swift and modern iOS technologies.
• Build and enhance features across product browsing, search, cart, checkout, payments, orders, delivery, and Click & Collect.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work closely with product, backend, UI/UX, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Debug and resolve functional, performance, and production issues.
• Optimize application performance, stability, memory usage, and user experience.
• Implement push notifications, deep linking, authentication, and secure data handling.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
• Support App Store releases, production deployments, and post-release issue resolution.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDKs.
• Good experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, networking, and API integrations.
• Experience with MVVM or similar application architecture patterns.
• Good understanding of iOS application lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Experience with debugging and profiling using Xcode and Instruments.
• Understanding of unit and UI testing.
• Experience with App Store Connect and iOS app deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Swift Concurrency / async-await.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics.
• Experience with Keychain and secure data storage.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and eCommerce APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
• Experience working on eCommerce, healthcare, pharmacy, or other consumer-facing applications.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
