Retail Sales Associate (Freshers can apply)

The position incumbent will be responsible for exceptional customer service, promoting products and assisting day to day operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Promotion

• Actively promote and sell the product to the customers.
• Recommend product based on customer needs and preferences, upselling and cross selling when appropriate.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handle cash, credit and electronic payments.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, and answering inquiries.
• Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the products or services offered by the store, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate product information to customers.
• Continuously expand product knowledge through training sessions, product demonstrations, and self-study.

Inventory Management

• Assist with merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining visual standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to low stock or replenishment needs.
• Ensure accurate product labeling, pricing, and signage throughout the store.

Operational Compliances

• Adhere to store policies and procedures regarding sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and cash handling.
• Maintain compliance with safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
• Follow guidelines for opening and closing procedures, including securing the premises and handling store keys responsibly.
